Dad was a humble, hard-working man who loved his family, the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, his Sharp’s beer, cutting lawn on his riding lawn mower that he did up until this past summer, playing sheepshead, and going to bingo and polka dances. He was the best dad anyone could want, he was our hero, and he would do anything for us or anyone else. He could fix pretty much anything that broke (he had to, he had four girls) until dementia robbed him of that ability. He liked to putz around in the garage, putting together grandfather clocks and making wood decorations.
A special thanks to our wonderful neighbors, Denny and Jan Luther, for always being there to help and bringing donuts. Also, a special thanks to Hospice Home of Hope for the kindness and compassion shown to Dad and our family during his final days.
