Anthony “Tony” Carey
Beloved son and brother Anthony “Tony” Carey, 33, passed away unexpectedly on May 24th, 2025. He was born on Wurtsmith Air Force Base to Shawn Carey and Paula Dudzinske on January 22, 1992.
Tony’s main priority in life was to laugh. Whether it was lying in wait to scare his Mother or playfully teasing his friends and coworkers, his goal was to always put a smile on your face. Whenever a laugh wouldn’t help, Tony would dive in headfirst to help you out. He may not have had the right answer every time, but you knew he put his heart and soul into helping you. Tony’s best quality was always being true to himself. The path he walked was bumpy, but as long as he could express himself unfettered, he was content.
Tony’s hobbies included collecting knives, target shooting, horror movies, shooting pool, golf, and playing video games with his friends and family. He was so good at Mario Kart his friends referred to him endearingly as “The Mayor of Mario Kart”. He also loved animals in general, but cats held a very special place in his heart.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Shawn Carey, Paula and Chad Dudzinske, brother Timothy (Kallie) Carey, grandparents Dan and Carol Brenner, Wally and Mary Ann Dudzinske, and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by grandparents Brian and Shirley Carey.
Tony’s family invites relatives and friends for a Celebration of Tony’s Life on Thursday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home in Fond du Lac. A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
