Betty J. Lindemer
Betty J. Lindemer, 73, of Fond du Lac, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at her residence.
She was born on July 25, 1949, in Hustisford, Wisconsin, the daughter of George and Betty Boettcher Lindemer. She was a graduate of Juneau High School, Class of 1967. Betty attended UW-Whitewater where she majored in Education and minored in Music, graduating with her Bachelor Degree in 1971. While Betty was teaching, she attended UW-Oshkosh and received her Masters Degree in Education.
Betty taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade in Eden, and taught for the Campbellsport School District for 38 years, retiring in 2009. She was a devoted member of Salem United Methodist Church where she was active in the church choir, served in leadership positions in the church, served as superintendent for Sunday School for many years, and was passionate about global missions. Betty had a passion for music and playing trombone and was a member of SCAMP Band.
She is survived by her brothers: James (Karen) Lindemer of Muskego, Curtis Lindemer of Redlands, CA and Dale (Kathy) Lindemer of Watertown, seven nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law Charmane.
SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Salem United Methodist Church, 120 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Eliud Martinez officiating. The family will greet friends after the services in the church fellowship hall. Cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
