Beverly Schoenung
Bev’s faith was an important part of her life. She attended Catholic Mass every week with her daughters, Karri and Ranee.
Bev enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and listening to Country music. If it were Monday or Friday night, you would find her watching WWE Raw or WWE SmackDown! Bev also loved to read, especially true crime and non-fiction.
In a world where our acceptance is questioned, you never had to question it with Bev. She welcomed all people into her home. She was always willing to listen. This carried over to one of Bev’s greatest passions, childcare. Bev provided childcare for many children over the years. The children she cared for were her pride and joy. She loved all the children she cared for, as if they were her own. Bev was an important person in many of the children’s lives, extending beyond childcare. Bev attended their sporting events and school concerts. Even after Bev no longer provided child-care, she never stopped thinking about the children she had cared for; often reflecting on the many memories of their time together.
Bev was truly one of a kind. Her strength and courage were some of her most admirable assets. She was your ‘last man standing,” the one you could count on through thick and thin. Her sense of humor and selfless ways will be remembered fondly, by many.

Go rest high on that mountain
Son your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a-shoutin’
Love for the Father and the Son
(Gill, 1995, track 11, stanza 2)
I’m already there
Take a look around
I’m the sunshine in your hair
I’m the shadow on the ground
I’m the whisper in the wind
I’m your imaginary friend
And I know I’m in your prayers
Oh, I’m already there
(Baker, Myers, McDonald, 2001, Track 7, stanza 2)
