Cathleen S. Roden

Cathleen S. Roden, aged 78, passed away on Sunday, November 16th, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on December 31, 1946, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to John R. and LaVerne C. Reimer. On June 24, 1967, she was united in marriage to Anthony J. Roden at St. Mary’s Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Roden graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and began her professional career as an Art instructor in the Fond du Lac school system. She later dedicated her time as a volunteer speaker for the Arthritis Foundation, participating in numerous seminars. Additionally, she devoted many years to volunteer service at the Historic Galloway House. Cathy was an active member of the Fondy Vintage Auto Club for the past 39 years, where she cultivated many lifelong friendships.

She is survived by her husband, Tony; their daughter, Jennifer, and her husband, Aaron Habeck; two grandsons, Noah and his wife, Faith, and Joshua, of Saint Cloud, Florida. She is also survived by her mother, LaVerne Reimer of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; two brothers, John (Jill) Reimer of Silver Lake, Wisconsin, and Mike (Chris) Reimer of Evanston, Illinois; and her brother-in-law, Tim (Diane) Roden of Gardnerville, Nevada.

SERVICES: Cathleen’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Friday, December 12, at Zacherl Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Deacon Dale of Holy Family will officiate. Interment will be private.
