David W. Klosterman

David W. Klosterman of rural Oakfield, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born June 12, 1941 to Robert and Dorothy (Bahr) Klosterman. David grew up in rural Ripon and graduated from Ripon High School.  He served in the U.S. Army and was a longtime member of the National Guard. David worked as a drywall lather and at the Fond du Lac County Healthcare Facility until retirement. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, darts, hunting, fishing, and watching WWE. He was in a loving relationship with Joan Guell for 36 years.

He is survived by his children, Chris (Lisa), Kevin (Sue), and Renee; grandchildren; a sister, Susan (Greg) Miller; former wife, Barbra Witkowski; sister-in-law, Donna Klosterman; cousins, nephews, a niece; and his godfather, Uncle Howard Bahr. He is further survived by Joan Guell’s daughters, Debra (Rob) Giese, Dawn (Dan) Schaefer, Mary (Cliff) Shelton and their children; and special friend, Erv Wissbroecker. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Lawrence; and Joan Guell.

At David’s request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place.
