Dennis M. Coulahan

Dennis M. Coulahan, 81, died at SSM in Waupun, Wisconsin on November 7, 2022 after complications of a heart attack.

He was born June 27, 1941 in Fond du Lac to John and Hazel (Hintz) Coulahan.

Dennis was a man of faith. His relationship with God helped him persevere through difficult parts of his life. Dennis enjoyed his walks to church and around town, every day no matter the weather.

Even though Dennis spent his life dealing with several mental health issues, he attained a degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, took care of his loving wife Janet, and helped others who suffered from similar ailments. He retired after 32 years of being a social worker for Fond du Lac County.

Dennis will be dearly missed by his wife Janet; sisters Mary (Tom) Schilling and Noreen (Bob) Van Price; brothers-in-law Joe King and Bob Christie; sister-in-law Penny Coulahan; as well as other relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; siblings June (Joe) Poklasny, Janice (Jim) Johnson, Jack Coulahan, and Kathy Christie.

Dennis’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
