Donna M. Zander

Donna M. Zander, age 74, was called home on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Lakeshore Manor. She was born June 28, 1948 in Oshkosh, WI a daughter of Edna Irene Hoffman Buck and Edward DeWayne Buck.

She worked as a cashier, cleaning technician, and retired as Supervisor of the Linen Room at St. Agnes Hospital.

Donna is survived by her three children, James Selwitschka of Fond du Lac (aka the favorite), Catherine Selwitschka of Fond du Lac, and Christine (Charles) Quackenboss of Eden; 6 grandchildren, Tiffanie (Mark) Abel, Tyler Borland, Trevor Navis (Justice Fox), Melissa Kirschenstein, Daniel (Sara) Quackenboss, Sara (Andrew) Scharschmidt; along with 6 great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by a whole slew of siblings (yes, our family reunions were a blast!), Barbara Gill, Jacqueline (Bob) Sime, Sandra Christensen (George Jackson), Georgette Kaufman, George Kaufman (Marie Daney), Karen Neubauer, Charles Hagn, Charlene (Dan) Brehmer, Harvey Krueger, Betty Neitch, Joyce (Ivan) Westover. There are also numerous cousins and nieces and nephews (not adding the number, since surely, would forget a dozen or so).

Donna also has a lot of friends (both from years past and new), and caretakers that really meant a lot to her (and the family).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Krueger; a sister, Elaine Messer; and brother-in-law Richard (Karen) Neubauer.

Donna loved to read, take pictures, garden, travel, ride bike, take road trips, discover her genealogy, and dance…….she danced up until the very end!

Donna’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Zacherl Funeral Home. A Celebration of Donna’s life will take place following the visitation at 11:00 AM.
