Elaine C. Bauer

Elaine C. Bauer (née Keenan) passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the age of 94. She was born January 25, 1932 in Fond du Lac, WI. Elaine lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and devotion to her family and friends. She was the beloved daughter of James F. and Nora Keenan.

Elaine was united in marriage to Raymond A. Bauer on November 3, 1956. She was a devoted mother to Kevin (Linda) Bauer, Erin (Daniel) Gerred and Ellen (John) Rodenkirch. A cherished grandmother to Katrina (Erich) Mayer, Kristina (Josh Reddemann) Bauer, Keenan and Shea-Lynn (fiancé, Ben Noble) Gerred. And great grandma to Briar and Callen Mayer and Cecilia and Jack Reddemann. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Nora Keenan; her brothers, Donald, James (Katherine), Jerome and Robert (Shirley) Keenan and sisters, Rosemary (Joseph) Fortunato, Madelyn (John) Wendels and Patricia (Robert) Hornes.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM on Tuesday at church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
