Elaney R. Redmann
Elaney R. Redmann, 23, of Brandon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully December 12, 2024 at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee surrounded by her family.
Elaney was born December 2, 2001 in Fond du Lac to Randell and Gina (Lorenz) Redmann. She became a proud big sister just shy of her 5th birthday, when her brother Levi joined the family. Elaney was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Despite her many struggles throughout her life, Elaney’s sweet smiles and mischievous giggles brought joy to everyone privileged enough to meet her. She gave the gift of new perspectives and made people better humans just through knowing her.
Elaney was extremely close to her Granny Sito (grandma Mary Bodart) who was her confidant, caregiver and aide through many of her school years. School was a particular joy for Elaney, who loved interacting with her classmates. Though she didn’t speak, she let everyone around her know what she liked and did not like, especially by hiding her hands behind her back.
Christmas lights, music, and chewy toys were a few of Elaney’s favorite things. She was even known to scoot her whole body under the Christmas tree in order to see the lights up close.
Elaney was so lucky to have the best friend in the world in Sophie (Smith) Juneau. The two of them spent lots of time together, along with Levi. Sophie took Elaney to her first (only) high school dance and had her as a bridesmaid in her recent wedding. We are forever grateful to Sophie for making Elaney’s world a better place.
Elaney is survived by her parents, Randell and Gina; brother Levi; grandpa and grandma Andy and Debby Lorenz; grandpa Ronald Redmann; aunt and uncle Cindey and Jeff Kreinke; aunt and uncle Rosanne and Brad Lorenz; aunt and uncle Becky and Ryan Redmann; aunt Pam Redmann, cousins Ryan, Mara, and Evan Kreinke, Earl, Grace and Penelope Lorenz, Aidan and Aubrey Redmann; and many special cousins and friends.
Elaney was preceded in death by her grandmas Mary (Hupfer) Bodart and Arlene Redmann and uncle Rob Redmann.
