Eleanor J. Sesing
Eleanor J. Sesing, 96, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home – Tarfa Terrace. She was born in the Town of Ashford on October 31, 1924 to Frank and Clara (Biesbier) Fell. On May 12, 1945 Eleanor married Jerome Sesing at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2002.
Eleanor worked briefly at Rueping Leather and then for many years assisted her husband in his role as a salesman for Borden Ice Cream. She was a member of Holy Family Parish – St. Mary Church.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Arlene Sesing and Rosemary Schrage; many nieces and nephews; and one special niece, Karen Cole, who has cared for Eleanor and been at her side for the last decade. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three sisters, Rose Condel, Marie Berman, and Frieda Smith; and a brother, Sylvester Fell.
A private family service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 followed by entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope and/or Holy Family Parish.
The family wishes to thank the hospice nurses, the staff at Tarfa Terrace, and Lakeland Care for caring for Eleanor these past years. It is much appreciated.
