Eugene (Gene) Buechel

Eugene (Gene) Buechel, 86, of Sandy Beach Rd., Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

He was born on March 2, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the son of Ben and Josephine Buechel. Gene was a 1954 graduate of St. Marys Springs. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in economics.

Gene spent 35 years as a stockbroker in Milwaukee and Fond du Lac, serving as a Vice President of Smith Barney and a Vice President of Robert Braird & Co.

Gene was a member of the Elks, Fond du Lac Yacht Club, and a former member of the Fond du Lac Exchange Club.

At his request, there will not be a funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
