Faye Nancy Belling

Faye Nancy Belling, 85, of Rosendale, died on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Tower View Villa in Rosendale.

She was born on December 11, 1936, in Oshkosh, the daughter of George A. and Alice R. (Baier) Sweet. On June 22, 1957, she married Eugene A. Belling at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Faye was proud to be a full-time homemaker and mother when her family was growing up. She worked as a teacher’s aide in the Oshkosh School District and then worked in insurance offices for 23 years.

Faye was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, where she served on the church council, sang in the choir, was a member of the women’s organization and taught Sunday School and Confirmation classes. Faye was a very active person who served as a Rosendale 4-H Club Leader, Rosendale/Eldorado Homemakers Club Member and Waupun Garden Club Member. Faye loved sewing, crafting, and working in her many gardens.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Eugene A. Belling of Rosendale, her children: Barbara Maloney of Pewaukee, Sandra (Paul) Marty of Manitowoc, Kathleen (Mark) Parman of Madison and Richard Belling of DeForest; her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, her sister Judith Ott of Oshkosh, her brother David Sweet of Pewaukee, and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Alice Sweet and by her in-law’s, Arnold and Myrtle Belling.

VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 9:30 – 11:30 AM, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 South Main Street, Rosendale.

SERVICE: Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Stansfield officiating. Cremation has taken place.
