Georgina Decuir
Georgina Decuir, 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 27, 2022 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She was born July 28, 1969 to Jorge and Maria de los angeles (Morales) Decuir in Mexico.
Georgina was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed being an active member of her faith and attending retreats and prayer groups.
Georgina married Julio Lopez in June of 1997. They celebrated 25 years of marriage together.
Georgina was an amazing cook. She loved her daughters dearly, and raising them was something she took pride in. She loved gathering with friends. Georgina was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She loved her furry friends.
Georgina will be dearly missed by her husband Julio; daughters Julia and Elizabeth; brothers Jorge (Camerina) Decuir Morales, Jose Manuel Decuir Morales, Julio (Lilia) Decuir Morales; sisters Teddy (Franco) Herrera, Lupe (Vicente) Ortiz, Angie (Michael) Rodrigues, Raquel (Carlos) Angeles, Grisel Decuir Morales; beloved dogs Princess, Daisy, and Leo; as well as other relatives and friends.
Georgina was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jose Luis Decuir Morales; and an Aunt Irma.
Georgina’s family invites friends and relatives to a time of visitation on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 6:30 PM.
Georgina’s family would like to give a special thank you to the Cancer Center and At-Home Hospice for their care and support as well as the members of Holy Family for their prayers and support.
