Gloria M. Casper

Gloria M. Casper, age 93, of New Holstein, died on March 19, 2022, at Willowpark Place in New Holstein. She was born September 20, 1928, to the late Milton (Gertrude) and Carolyn Wippermann. On May 28, 1955, she married Jerome Casper. They were married 62 years when he passed in 2017.
Gloria was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, singing in the choir for many years, and she lived a Christian life.
Gloria always put others first! She was proud and honored to help fill the void when their daughter Carol died unexpectedly. She helped take care of Carol’s newborn baby and the rest of the family.
Gloria was humble and down-to-earth, never choosing something “fancy”. She and Jerome grew a large garden every year and canned the produce they raised. She loved to cook and bake, and was best known for her Dream Bars and German potato salad. Gloria was a small lady with big feet and an enormous heart. Most of all she loved her family, including her dogs.
Gloria is survived by her children: Karen (Bill) Kornetzke, Judy Woelfel, Linda (Jeff) May, Gene (Nancy) Casper, Kim (Bob) Turney, Cheryl (Tom) Pritzl; grandchildren: Michelle, Jason, Andrew, Jesse, Jeremy, Angela, Elizabeth, Eric, Chad, Nicole, Heather, Michael, Alyssa, Stephanie, Jaclyn, Marcus, Adam, Lindsay, Kaitlyn (God child), Christopher; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Grace, Grant, Reed, Ryden, Roman, Violet, Ava, Eli, Bella, Annabelle, Luana, Eden, Maxwell, Ted, Dan, Jonathan; son-in-law: Larry (Margie) Heimermann; former sons-in-law: Rich (Sarah) Kirby, Dave (Lisa) Woelfel; a brother: Milton (LaVern) Wippermann; sister-in-law: Betty Wippermann; and Godchild: Rochelle Redhage.
