Jean A. Green
Jean A. Green (nee O’Brien), 70, of North Fond du Lac went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at ThedaCare in Neenah. She was born on August 25, 1950 in Fond du Lac, the firstborn child of the late James and Helen O’Brien (nee Perron). In 1968, she graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy. Jean worked as a Unit Clerk at St. Agnes Hospital for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and was a history buff. Jean loved Wisconsin and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. She had a giving and caring spirit; Jean was always there whenever someone was in need. Jean was a faithful Christian and member of Community Church in Fond du Lac. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jean will be missed by her sons, Collin Taillefer (special friend Becky) and Blake (Kelly) Taillefer; grandchildren, Savannah Taillefer and Ivy Taillefer; great-grandchild, Lincoln Grohall; siblings, Jim O’Brien, Tim (Corina) O’Brien, Barb (Mike) Senn, Patty O’Brien, Dennis O’Brien (special friend Sue), Karen O’Brien, Chris (Joe) Schiek, and Maureen (Andy) Heimerl; sisters-in-law, Patty Maxia O’Brien and Janet O’Brien. She is further survived by her dear friends, Sue, Carol, and Amber, nieces, nephews, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Dan O’Brien; and former husband, Gary Taillefer.
Visitation: Jean’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Community Church, N6717 Streblow Dr, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
Funeral Service: A funeral service for Jean will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday at Community Church with Rev. Adam Utecht officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eden.
Jean’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation to St. Agnes Hospital and ThedaCare in Neenah for their care and support.
