Jeanette Ruth Dorn

During her life, Jeanette worked at the bobby pin factory in Appleton as well as the nursing home in Chilton as a CNA.  However, a majority of her life was devoted to the loving care of her husband and her children.  Later in that endeavor, Jeanette was a doting grandmother who cherished moments with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

With a passion for family history, Jeanette tended to and traced her family lineage.  Many family vacations were spent in cemeteries with the purpose of growing the family tree.

Jeanette was an excellent cook who loved to try new recipes and was proud of the kitchen gadgets she amassed over the years always knowing that if one item was good, several more would be even better.  Later in her life, she enjoyed trips to the casino, spending time up north with the girls and traveling cross country in a motor home.

Survivors include her children:  Steven (Ellen) Dorn, Ginger (Randy) Sampson, Dee Dorn, Wendy (Adam) McDowell, Lori (Robert) Oney; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and her siblings-in-law: Donna Champeau, Jim (Lorna) Dorn, Robert (Virginia) Dorn, Robert (Donna) Laus, Shirley Radtke and her fiancé Pat Dewar.
