Jill Carol Bodinger

Jill Carol Bodinger, age 28, of Stockbridge, left this world on Sunday, June 5, 2016 due to a brain aneurysm. Jill was born on December 11, 1987, the daughter of Steven & Lori (Hemauer) Bodinger and had graduated from Stockbridge Public Schools and classes at Fox Valley Technical College.

Jill had proudly worked for the Chilton Times Journal as a proofreader and enjoyed the time she could offer by volunteering at the Chilton Library and the nursing home in Chilton.

Jill was with us so briefly, but left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She loved the gift of life and embraced it with enthusiasm. She knew that all things were possible and loved thinking about the many possibilities before her.

Besides the color purple, one of Jill’s greatest passions was performance. She was a member of the Calumet County Community Theater and was currently involved with the upcoming production of “The Wedding Singer” musical where she was looking forward to the opportunity to light up the stage this July.

Jill loved social networking; it was a fantastic outlet for her to express her creative genius and make new friends to laugh with, love and grow in life.

She was a big fan of WWE wrestling and simply adored her cats, Squirt, Luna & Titus, but her greatest love in life was her family and friends. Nothing brought her more joy than to be with those she loved, and show her appreciation of them by giving them the best hugs in the world.

Survivors include her parents: Steve “Bone” & Lori Bodinger; a brother: Jake Bodinger; paternal grandparents: Ken & Del Bodinger; aunts & uncles: Sue (Marty) Franzen, Randy Bodinger and his friend, Sue, Jim Bodinger, Dan Bodinger and his friend, Amy, Sue Lisowe and her friend, Pat, Dan (Debbie) Hemauer, and her favorite aunt, Carol. She is further survived by her favorite cousin, Tracie Mindel along with many other cousins & other relatives; her friend and soul mate: Emily Beyer and numerous friends she’s made along life’s path.

Jill was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Francis Hemauer & Ellen Hemauer.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:45 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016.

Jill’s family would like to thank all of the members of the Calumet County Community Theater, especially Miki Wise for fostering a passion for performance in Jill, and her very dear friends Nicole & Kaitlyn.

They would also like to thank the staff of Aurora in Oshkosh, and the staff of Theda Clark ICU, especially Dr. Wascher for all of the kind, compassionate care they gave to Jill and her family.
