John “Jake” Edward Galligan

John “Jake” Edward Galligan, 75, of Campbellsport passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Campbellsport. He was born on June 15, 1949 in Campbellsport, the son of Donald F. and Virginia M. (Long) Galligan.

John worked as a setup man at Regal Ware in Kewaskum for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycles, picking and eating strawberries and gambling. John was always there to help out family and neighbors including babysitting for family members and being grandpa on grandparents day at school. Even in death John was always giving as he was a tissue and bone donor.

Survivors include his sisters Beverly (Bruce) Falk, Carol (Don) Butz, and Linda (Tom) Campagna, brothers Robert (Gayle), Larry (Patty), Ralph (Shirley), William (Joyce), George (Lori) and Herb (Terri), sister-in-law Kathy Galligan, special friends, Corrine Lerch, Jim Burgert, Jackson Schickert and Elaine Gloede, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Judy Galligan and Betty (George) Seibel, and brothers Frederick, Donald, Jr. and James.

A family memorial gathering will be held at a future date.
