John L. Fryman

John L. Fryman, 79, of Eldorado, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Bellin Health in Green Bay.

He was born on October 8, 1943, in Peoria, IL, the son of Ernest and Beulah Hurt Fryman. John was a veteran of the United States Army, stationed out of Milwaukee, working with missiles from 1965-1967. He was ranked as a sergeant. On March 30, 1973, he married Donna J. Pfalzgraf, at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac.

John was employed with Mercury Marine from 1969-2006, when he retired. He was a member of the Fondy Vintage Auto Club. John enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a builder and flier of RC Airplanes.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna Fryman of Eldorado, his sons: Joe (Denise) Fryman of Eden and Jim Fryman of Burnett, WI, his daughter Michele (Keith) Bublitz of Traverse City, MI; six granddaughters, one grandson, three great-granddaughters, two sisters: Nona Emerson of Peoria, IL and Doris Ann Fryman of Fond du Lac.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Christine Dora, his brothers Bob and Paul.

VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 Division Street, Fond du Lac.

SERVICE: Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, with Chaplain Karen Kraus officiating. Trier Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct Military graveside services at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Estabrooks Cemetery.
