John R. Kloetke

John R. Kloetke, 73, of Mt Calvary went home to his Savior on Sat. July 18, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born in Oshkosh on March 11, 1942, the son of Arthur and Julia (nee Palkovich) Kloetzke, On August 15, 1981, John married Janice D. Baganz at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Forest. He received an Honorable Discharge for his service in the U. S. Army. John worked at Mercury Marine for over 40 years and after retiring worked part time at Forest Floor Foods. John was an excellent carpenter doing many projects for family and friends. He enjoyed watching the Packers and golf but his favorite was spending time with family and friends. 



Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Janice, his mother Julia Kloetzke, his children Reine (Rory) Schneider, Tyrone Kloetzke, Reed Kloetzke all of Fond du Lac, Julie (Rodney) Hernandez of St. Peter, Cheryl (Chuck) Culver of Fond du Lac, Christine (Amy) Baganz of Oshkosh and James Kloetzke of Green Bay, his grandchildren Ross, Rachelle and Roseanne Schneider, Jordan Kloetzke, Lakely and Pallen Kloetzke, and Reginall and Samual Hernandez, six great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Lorna Kloetzke of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

John was preceded in death by his father Arthur, his brothers Arthur “Termite” (Delores “Sis”) Kloetzke, Donald Kloetzke and Edward Kloetzke and his sisters Barbara (Marvin) Cox and Patsy (Robert) Carter. 



Visitation will be Thursday, July 23rd, from 4 to 8 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac and on Friday July 24th from 12 Noon until time of services at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, W2090 County Rd. W, Mt Calvary. 

Funeral Services will be Friday July 24th at 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Barenz will officiate and entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
