Judy A. Hari

Judy A. Hari, 65, of Fond du Lac, passed away on April 19, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born September 14, 1956 to Peter and Katie (Powell) Dittel in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

She married Lyle Hari Sr. on November 28, 1975.

Judy was very proud of her career as an LPN for the Fond du Lac School District. She was a compassionate woman who dedicated much of her time to helping children with special needs. She loved helping people, especially her family. Judy was an excellent host, planning fun parties for family and friends.

Judy enjoyed going bowling, shooting in pool league, and traveling. She and Lyle enjoyed yearly trips to Las Vegas. In recent years, she loved going on cruise trips to the Caribbean. Judy loved flowers, bird watching, and butterflies.

When her kids were younger, Lyle and Judy often took them camping. They would go for weeks at a time. Judy even convinced Christie to let her take the young grandkids on an excursion. Even if it was raining, the family would enjoy a game of monopoly.

Her grandkids were her world. She loved spending time with them, especially when school was out. Judy taught them to swim and took them in the pool as much as she could. In addition to her grandkids, Judy had a special place in her heart for her cat, Jazzy.

Judy went through life with her positive attitude, her can-do energy, and amazing strength that kept her going. Her humor brightened everyone’s mood and she was always putting others before herself. She loved life, and those who surrounded her.

Judy will be dearly missed by her husband Lyle; her children Christie (Eric) Kaufman, Lyle Hari Jr., and Katie Hari; grandchildren Tyler, Courtney, and Zeke; siblings Pat, Diane, Donna, Pete, Alice, Eva, and Bill; other relatives and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim, her sister Carolyn, and a few special nieces and nephews.

Private family services are being held at a later date.

Judy’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Agnes Hospital ICU Department for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to a charity of your choice in Judy’s memory.
