Julie A. Johnson

Julie A. Johnson, age 57, of Brownsville, entered eternal life after an extended illness on Monday, May 02, 2016. She was born on December 11, 1958 in Neenah, the daughter of Edmund G. and Helen D. (Bellen) Fahrenkrug. She was a 1977 graduate of Neenah High School and a 1982 graduate of UW Stevens Point. It was at Stevens Point where Julie met the love of her life Douglas L. Johnson. They wed at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Neenah in 1982. Julie loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. The great outdoors and all its activities brought great joy to her and her family and she loved spending time with her dog Barron.



Julie is survived by her loving husband Douglas L. Johnson of Brownville; one son, Jordan (Ashlee) Johnson of Madison, WI; one daughter, Kelsey Johnson of Fond du Lac; her mother Helen Fahrenkrug of Neenah; siblings, Lawrence G. (Joyce) Fahrenkrug of Roswell, GA, Timothy L. Fahrenkrug of Tomahawk, WI; Elaine (Bill) Vancil and Valerie Vancil both of Neenah; father-in-law, Willard Johnson of Rockford, IL; Barb (Gere) Wheatley of Waterloo, IA, Ken Johnson of Lomira, Kathy (Jim) Dill of Rockford, IL; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; mother in law, Betty Johnson,



Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 3-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.



The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the Doctors and staff at St. Joseph’s ICU in West Bend who provided comfort during Julie’s final journey.
