Kathryn “Katie” Adelmeyer Laudolff
Katie was born May 5, 1989 and went home to Jesus January 6, 2023, at the age of 33. Dealing with poor health for nearly 2 years, she was ready to go to heaven.
Katie faced many hardships and struggles during her life, yet she lived to care for others. She worked as a CNA caring for the elderly and mentally challenged and she enjoyed working at Memorial Hospital in Florida on the critical care unit until her daughter Amelia was born. She thrived in her church community at Faith Lutheran, giving her time and talent at church and her children’s school whenever she was able. Her church community offered great support to Katie and her family by offering prayers and encouragement, visiting Katie in the hospital, making meals and making sure that Amelia and Maggie had rides to and from school.
The roles most important to Katie were those of wife and mother. Her husband, Bob, expanded her world when they moved to Florida, then Germany, while he served in the Army. Amelia, 11, was born in Florida and Maggie, 8, was born in Germany. Those years were golden for the Laudolff family.
Family that Katie leaves behind include her husband, Bob; daughters, Amelia and Maggie; her mother Lynn Griswold; grandmothers, Marlene Adelmeyer and Pat Griswold; grandfather, Larry Griswold and her brother, Chris Adelmeyer-the only one allowed to call her PeeWee. Others family members include her aunts, Pam (Brian) Williamson, Terri Tautges, Mary (Pat) Sterr and family; her father, David Adelmeyer; other relatives, friends and finally her church family at Faith Lutheran.
Katie’s grandfather, Bernie Adelmeyer will be waiting to greet her in heaven.
SERVICES: Katie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 15, 2023 for time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:45 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road in Fond du Lac. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at the church. Cremation has taken place.
