Lou Ann Durocher
Lou Ann Durocher, 77, formerly of Fond du Lac passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at Libby’s House in Chilton where she has resided the last 3 years.
She was born in Mischicot on March 11, 1939, the daughter of Frank J. and Leona L. (nee Gauthier) Jost.
On July 13, 1957, Lou Ann married Wayne J. Durocher, her love of 55 years. Lou Ann worked at Mercury Marine for years and they also ran Durocher’s Bar in Dotyville for 7 years.
Lou Ann was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church and the Snow Drifters-Dotyville. Wayne and Lou Ann reside in Dade City, FL in the winter and Fond du Lac in the summer.
Survivors include her brother Allen (Dorothy) Jost of Florida, her brother-in-law Don Vanne of Florida, her nephews and nieces Gerry (Patty) Vanne of Chilton, Peggy Vanne of Chilton, Debra Gau of St. Cloud, Terri Lee (Mark) Sabel of New Holstein, Annette (Dennis) Feldman of Elkhart Lake, Michael Vanne of Chilton, Mary (Ray) Stafford of Columbia, SC, Sue (Jim) Yerkman of Chilton, Laurie (Leighton) Blasing of Chilton, Keith (Sue) Vanne of Chilton, Becky (Duane) See of Chilton, Daniel (Gayle) Durocher of Apopka, FL, David (Kim) Durocher of Hudson Fl, Denise (Brian) Dax of Two Rivers, Dawn (Kelly) Hilliker of Two Rivers, Jeff Durocher of Wisconsin Rapids, Tammy (Chris) Lauretzen of Charlotte, NC, Dennis (Lisa) Durocher of Neenah, Laurie (Todd) Eucke of Green Bay, Vickie (Kevin) Timm of Two Rivers, Debbie (David) Keip of Baraboo, Dean (Sue) Durocher, Dorene (Scott) Young, Michelle (Casey) Wanek, William (Valerie) Durocher all of Two Rivers, Jeanne (Tommy) Strickland of Berry, AL, Jeff (Naomi) Jost of Bell Canyon, CA, James Jost of Arcadia, OK, John (Jennifer) Jost of Cypress, CA, and Joanna Jost of La Miranda, CA, her sisters-in-law Shirley, Ann and Joan, their God Children Vicki, Terrie, Peggy, Julie, Dennis and Tammy, special friends John and Melody Hoffman of Fond du Lac and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne on Oct. 1, 2012, her father Frank Jost, her mother Leona Jost Salata, her step father Michael Salata, her sister Carol Jost Vanne, her in-laws William and Emma (Dupras) Durocher, brothers-in-law Emmett, Donald (Valeria), Glenn, Evan and Dale Durocher and her nephews Donald Delphis Vanne and Peter Gau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM, Thursday Dec. 15th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave. Fond du Lac.
Entombment will be at 10:00 AM on Friday Dec. 16th in Knollwood Mausoleum in Mishicot.
Visitation will be Thur. Dec. 15th from 9:30 AM until time of mass at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Research.
