Louis C. Harvey

Louis C. Harvey, 93, formerly
of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 5, 2015,
at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Appleton.

 

He was born on March 2, 1922,
in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada,
a son of Russell and Mary E. Murphy Harvey. 
He was a graduate of Melrose High School in Melrose,
Massachusetts.

 

Louis served with the United
States Army in the European Theatre during World War II.

 

On July 16, 1945, he married
Christine P. Johnson in Royersford,
Pennsylvania.  She preceded him in death on September 15,
1999.

 

Louis was a sales manager for
Mercury Marine for over 27 years.  He was
a former member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #57, Fond du Lac. 
Louis enjoyed golfing, coin collecting, and playing bridge.  He was a world traveler, an avid reader and
loved spending time with his family.

 

He is survived by two
children:  John (Patricia) Harvey of
Appleton and Laura (Larry) Arnoldi of Oxford.

 

He was preceded in death by
his parents, and two brothers: John Harvey and William Harvey.

 

The visitation will be on
Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, from 10:00 a.m – 11:00 a.m.

 

Following the visitation, a
funeral service will be held at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park,
N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac,
with Rev. Jack Harrison officiating.

 

Entombment will be in the
Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview
Memorial Park.
