Mabel Bell Morien
Mabel Bell Morien, 95, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Hospice Home of Hope.
She was born May 15, 1930, in Waterville Township in Pepin County, WI, the daughter of Bertha Sarah White.
On September 24, 1949, she married Joseph Herman Morien in Chicago, Illinois.
Mabel owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband Joseph until 1972. She then worked as a nurse and unit secretary for Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
Mabel is a member of Devine Savior Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac.
Survivors include her children, Joseph (Jean) Morien of Oshkosh; Robert Morien of Appleton; Deborah (Arthur) Reiter of Granton, WI; Patricia (Alan) “Wally” Breitenfeldt of Tigerton, WI; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Meriea Carlton and Rosemary Smith of Green Bay, WI; one brother Duke (Nancy) Trebilcock of Ontonagon, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband Joseph on February 14, 1972, brother Galen (Sue) Doughty, and daughter-in-law Judy Morien.
SERVICES: Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being planned for the Spring of 2026. Burial will take place in Greenwood City Cemetery, Greenwood, WI.
Memorials in her name may be directed to the Devine Savior Church Building Fund.
