Margot Weiss

Margot Weiss of Birchwood Lake, Campbellsport died February 25, 2014 at HCR
Manor Care in Fond du Lac. She was born in Düsseldorf, Germany the only child of
Stanley and Anastasia Pajonkowski. They came to the US and moved to Milwaukee in
1927. On February 10, 1945, Margot married Herbert F. Weiss. In 1967 Herb and
Margot moved to Birchwood Lake. Margot was a homemaker, baker and a talented
crafts person. She was a volunteer knitting and crocheting teacher at St. Joseph
Convent for 27 years. She was well loved by the nuns. Upon the death of her
husband Herb, grandson Aaron Priepke moved in with her and she enjoyed many
years with teenagers, family, friends and neighbors. Margot also lived with
daughter Tina Weiss before residing at HCR Manor Care in Fond du Lac.

Survivors include one son Herbert E (Donna) Weiss of Las Vegas, NV and two
daughters Judy (Robert) Gurrath and Tina Weiss of Birchwood Lake, Campbellsport;
Grandchildren Phillip Weiss, Jason Weiss, Kimberly Tucker , Michael Gurrath,
Scott Gurrath, Aaron Priepke, Owen Priepke, Zachary Priepke, and 14
great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert, four
brother-in-laws and four sister-in-laws.
Visitation will be held at Twohig
Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport on March 8, 2014 from 10 am – 12:30
PM. Services to start at 12:30 PM.

and Buster for all the years of companionship. Thank you caregivers Herb
Bingham, Ellen Flynn and Tina Rawlins. Thank you to Nancy Stich for all the
support, as both our parents went through the disease of dementia; no one knows
the journey until it is walked. Thank you to the staff of HCR Manor Care and
Heartland Hospice for your support and compassionate care of Margot Weiss and
her family. Thank you to all the young people who cared and helped Grandma when
she lived alone. Special thanks to Aaron, Owen and Zachary Priepke for all the
years of love and care and help to keep Grandma in her home and her daughter’s
home. Without you that would not have happened.
