Marjorie A. “Marge” Hansen

Marjorie A. “Marge” Hansen, 85, of Fond Du Lac, died Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home with her son and a caregiver, Joanna by her side. She was born in Fond du Lac, Wi. on Saturday February 6, 1937, to Nicholas and Alma (Hart) Rohlinger. On Thursday, June 25, 1953, Marge married James “Jim” Hansen at St. Mary’s Church in Fond Du Lac.

Marge worked several years at Wright Bros. Paper Box MFRS, when they were located on West Arndt St. in Fond du Lac. Margie enjoyed shopping, going to, and having rummage sales, watching the Green Bay Packers, celebrating birthdays with her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. She was also a member of Living Truth Fellowship in Fond du Lac.

Survivors include her son; John (Kathy Ruedinger) Hansen of Fond du Lac; nephew David (Shani) Atkins of Janesville Wi. and niece Judith Kempton; five grandchildren, Steve (Katlyn) Hansen of Appleton, Brian (Tanya) Hansen of Laurel, MT, Jackie (Ben) Gudex of Germantown and Kelly Hansen (fiancé Shawn O’Brien) of Oshkosh, Hannah Hansen of Fond du Lac; Sisters-in-law, Barbara Schwersinske of North Fond du Lac, Ruth Albrecht of Fond du Lac and Marian Stahmann of Van Dyne, Carlene Hansen of Spooner; brothers-in-law, Laurence (Jeannette) Hansen of Arizona, Cliff Hansen of Oshkosh; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Hansen; one son, Gregory Hansen; parents, Nicholas and Alma Rohlinger; one brother, Raymond Rohlinger; one sister, Agnes Atkins; brother-in law, Donald Atkins, one niece, Mary Ayers.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 Co Rd K, Fond du Lac, WI. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Hess officiating. Entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park will follow the services.
