Nick A. Thome

Nick A. Thome, 41, of Fond du Lac, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, unexpectedly at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1983, in Fond du Lac, the son of William Thome and Deborah Macho. Nick graduated from Goodrich High School in 2001 and later went on and graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Chicago as a diesel mechanic. He worked at Kriete Truck Center in Fond du Lac. Nick was quick witted, had a dark sense of humor, and had a shirt for every occasion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and working on cars. Nicks greatest joy was being a father to his children.

He is survived by his father, William (Karen Erickson) Thome; mother, Deborah (Peter “Toby”) Macho; two children Ethyn and Breckyn Thome; step-daughter, Katelyn Tamm; significant other, Jenny Giese and her daughter, Emma; brother, Kris (Kristi) Thome; two nieces, McKenna and Emerson; two grandmothers, Joanne Thome and Donna Draves; his dog, Roscoe; and uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Ellsworth Thome and Dale Draves.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service.
