Ricardo Ernesto Rodas

Ricardo Ernesto Rodas, 101, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital.  He was born October 18, 1920 in El Salvador, the son of Ricardo Martinez and Francisca Rodas.  Ricardo married Elsa Pastran de Rodas in El Salvador.  He was a musician for the El Salvador National Orchestra for 35 years.  After retirement they moved to Fond du Lac in February of 2001.  He was a member of Holy Family Parish.  Ricardo loved to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Elsa; five children, Ricardo Rodas of El Salvador, Andres (Maritza) Rodas of El Salvador, Jorge (Mayra) Rodas of Fond du Lac, Jose (Kathy) Rodas of Fond du Lac, and Juan (Blanca) Rodas of El Salvador; and ten grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating.  Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.  A Celebration of his life will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday at the Lakeside Park Pavilion.
