Sandra J. “Sandy” Davies

Sandra J. “Sandy” Davies, 89, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home of Hope on June 30, 2024. She was born April 3, 1935 in Fond du Lac to John and Eunice (Roberts) Hardgrove.

Sandy loved her family and friends more than anything. She enjoyed going to Bingo with her friends and driving through the park every day to look for pelicans. Sandy loved to cheer on the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Up until last year, Sandy enjoyed going for drives and exercised her freedom behind the wheel. Sandy’s family will always remember the kindness showed to her by the friendly girls at Hansen’s when she’d go there for her morning cappuccino and scratch offs.

Sandy spent many years attending annual New Years sleepover pajama parties with her besties and going on trips with them.

Sandy will be dearly missed by her children Victoria (Mike Venne) Davies, Shelby (James) Grassy, Jackie (Paul) Gneiser, Guy Davies; grandchildren Ciara, Silas (Jess), Heather (Cliff), Sheyanne, Corinne; great grandchildren Maddie and CJ; brother Steve (Sue) Hardgrove; step-sister Mary Stepaniuk; sister-in-law Neddie Laabs; special friends Carol Labrasseur and Nicole Miller; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Corby” Davies, her parents, and brothers Richard Hardgrove and Jack Hardgrove.

Private family services will be held out of respect for Sandy’s wishes.

Sandy’s family would like to give a special thank you to her neighbors Dave and Della, for all of their loving care towards Sandy and the help they provided over the years. They would also like to give a special thank you to the folks at St. Francis Terrace, Touchstone, and SSM Hospice.
