Sister Lucille Bertram

Sister Lucille Bertram, CSA, formally Sister Clementine, died peacefully on October 25, 2012 at Nazareth Center.

Sister Lucille was born August 19, 1928 in Fond du Lac, WI to Clemens and Loretta Bertram.  There were three girls and two boys in the family.  Sister was professed on August 15, 1947.  She received a CDA in dietary services and COTA in occupational therapy.  Her ministries were homemaker, director of an OT group at a home for mentally challenged, and began a literacy program for older adults in Milwaukee.  She ministered in MI, NY, PA, WI, IN, IL, and OH.

Sister was survived by her sisters Petronilla “Pat” Stenz and Maryann Flood, a sister-in-law Lynda Bertram, nieces and nephews and the Sisters of St. Agnes with whom she lived, prayed and ministered.

Sister Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Clemens Bertram, Loretta Weber Bertram, and her brothers, Gerald Bertram and Cyril Bertram. 

Visitation will be at Nazareth Court and Center on Monday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Springs Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
