Stella Marie Ditter Birschbach

Stella Marie Ditter Birschbach, age 90, went to her heavenly
home on Sat. March 23, 2013 at the St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born
on August 6, 1922 in Taycheedah, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Mand) Ditter.
On May 30, 1946 she married Clemens Birschbach and he preceded her in death on
October 13, 1982. They farmed in Mt. Calvary for most of their married life,
where they were active at Holy Cross Church. Stella enjoyed baking especially
cookies and sending care packages to her grandchildren They were blessed with
five children Louis (Ginny) Birschbach of Armstrong, Linda (Steve) Koenigs of
Marytown, Thomas (Elizabeth) Birschbach of New Holstein, Mary Jo (Jerry)
Scannell of Eden, and Kathy (David) Elwing of Woodbridge, VA. Stella had 12
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters and
brothers Alice (Ralph) Sabel, Ray (Ethel) Ditter, Alvin (Jane) Ditter and Joan
Ditter, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents,
her husband Clem, and her brothers Harold, Bill and Clarence. Visitation will be
Wed. March 27th from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Hospital Chapel,
430 E. Division St. Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30
AM at the chapel. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt Calvary. Memorials
are appreciated to the St. Francis Home. The family of Stella Birschbach wishes

for their wonderful care and for making Stella feel at home for the past four
