Steven W. Zwarich

Steven W. Zwarich, 30, of Fond du Lac Wisconsin, died on Sunday, August 7th at SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital. He was surrounded by his family.

He was born in DeKalb, Illinois at Kishwaukee Hospital. He was adopted and given new life by Gerald and Cynthia Zwarich. Steven attended Fond du lac High School where he made some of the best memories of his lifetime. He loved school, his teachers, and his friends. Steven was also very fond of the local Public Library, which he frequented as much as possible. The Fond du Lac Treffert Center was also on his list of favorite places. Steven spent the last 16 years working with his family delivering papers and Action Ads on the east side of town. He loved delivering papers because it allowed him to meet many of the customers and to find new people to talk to. People were always so very kind to Steven and the rest of the Zwarich clan. His family will be forever grateful for the way the members of this community treated Steven who was born with special needs. Steven had a wonderfully big heart and was always looking for ways to help someone. Sometimes that meant picking up a garbage can that had been knocked over, helping someone who had fallen, carrying and or loading groceries for someone who was disabled, and playing with his nieces and nephews while their parents went about their business. Sometimes that meant putting a newspaper or action in just the right place so that the customer could access it. His entertainment passions included Legos, Harry Potter, Eragon, dragons, eating out and old movies.

Steven was greeted at Heaven’s gates by his best dog Grace, his sister Michelle Schoenfeld, and a great man he called Daddy David (Jensen).

He was survived by his parents Gerald and Cynthia Zwarich, his siblings John (Jenny) Zwarich, Heather (Nelson) Castellanos, Briana (Blake) Zorn, Matthew Zwarich, Destiny (Octavio) Salas, Michael Zwarich, Crystal Zwarich, Austin Zwarich and Ashlynn Roberts; his nieces and nephews David, Giovanni, Adrian, Icela, Michelle, Jesika, Alex, Bridget, Christian, Jacob, McKayla, Leo, Stewart, Adriel, Micah, Beth and Jaxson, his grandparents Carol and Charles Koch and special friends Janice Roberts and Shannon Crawford. He was also survived by his earthly guardian angel Christopher (Teresa) Koch who loved him and guided him grandparents as a young boy, a time Steven always remembered with affection.

SERVICE: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
