William W. Marchant
William W. Marchant, 90, of Campbellsport, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital in Menomonee Falls. He was born on December 20, 1929, the son of the late Wayne and Rose Marchant (nee Ferber). On June 25, 1946, he married Alice Kippenhan at Campbellsport United Church of Christ. Bill was a dairy farmer and also drove school bus for Bill Bauman. He served on the Campbellsport School Board for 37 years, was a member of the Farm Bureau, a founding member of the Campbellsport Sno Cougars, and a lifelong member of Campbellsport United Church of Christ. Bill often gave blood and was just short of donating 100 gallons. Bill loved watching the Green Bay Packers and would never miss a game.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Carole Marchant (Walter) Ferber, Sharon Entringer, Nancy (David) Dreher, Jeanne Marchant (Dale Reigle), Susan (Rick) Dreher, and Judith Marchant; grandchildren, Jason (Betty), Ben (Suzy), Melissa (Rob), Lindsy (Dave), Shane, Joshua, Alison (Eric), Lisa (Kyle), Amanda (Derek), and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Eric (Cilla), Nick (Brandy), Jared (Augusta), Hannah, Dakota, Braden, Brock, Avery, William, Henry, and Adelyn; great-great-granddaughter, Ophelia; brother, Joe (Pat) Marchant; sister, Lola Ebert; and sister-in-law, Barbara Kippenhan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Rose Marchant, wife, Alice, Son, Billy, three grandsons, Jonathan Ferber, Jeremiah and Jacob Hanson, and brothers-in-law, Glen Kippenhan, and Allen Ebert.
Private family services will be held with burial at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are appreciated to the FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund or to the family.
