Packers Miss Playoffs After Season-Ending Loss to Lions

The Green Bay Packers will not be going to the playoffs after falling to the Detroit Lions in the season’s final game. All the Packers needed to do Sunday night was win and they’d be in, but several miscues cost them in a 20-16 loss to the Lions. Green Bay’s defeat means the Seattle Seahawks claimed the final NFC Wild Card Spot. The Packers finish the season with an 8-9 record, the first losing season in Head Coach Matt LaFluer’s four years with the team.
