Pavilion Renovation On Track At Lakeside Park

The City of Fond du Lac Advisory Park Board met Monday evening, and was given an update on the pavilion renovation. John Redmond, head of the City Parks Department, said there’s a lot going on right now . “We have the new fireplace inserts, those will be installed in the very near future. The outside trusses are installed by the concession stand if you’ve driven by, it looks really nice. The security wiring is being installed on the interior and that’s quite the process, so we will have a number of cameras indoors and outdoors.”

Redmond said if you’re driving by, you’ll also see something new this week. “Something really exciting happened, we had the windows installed. The new windows facing north, along with all the windows, were installed so it looks really nice.” Joe Moore told KFIZ News they expect the pavilion to be completed and ready for occupancy by June 1 of this year.
