Plea Deal For One State Street Looter

One of the State Street looters from last summer has struck a plea deal.

The Dane County district attorney says his agreement with Anthony Torres from Fitchburg would erase any felony charges from his record as long as he completed a diversion program.

Torres was facing eight felony charges for taking part in the looting along State Street last year. The judge in the case tells Torres his plea deal is a “gift.”
