Preliminary Hearing for Chase Suspect

The man accused of leading a Fond du Lac County deputy on a
high speed chase on Interstate 41 late last month is set to appear in court for
his preliminary hearing Thursday. 

27-year old Kevin O’Brien of Sussex is
charged with Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felony Eluding an
Officer, and two counts of Bail Jumping. 

O’Brien was clocked going over 100
miles per hour – and then fled when they deputy tried to pull him over. The 12
mile pursuit ended in Dodge
County, after another
deputy deployed a tire deflation device to stop his vehicle.
