Proposed improvements

Currently, the existing structure provides insufficient clearance over I-41 and lacks pedestrian accommodations. The existing County OOO structure provides 15-feet,10-inches of vertical clearance to I-41 at its lowest point. The standard clearance is 16-feet 9-inches. The primary purpose of the project is to redeck or reconstruct the existing bridge that carries County OOO (West Scott Street) over I-41 and upgrade other roadway deficiencies.

Construction is expected in 2029. Please see the project website for information and displays regarding both the redecking alternative and reconstruction alternative. WisDOT will consider all comments prior to selecting a preferred alternative.
