Public Works Department Seeks Public’s Opinion On Pedestrian Bridge Set For Lakeside Park

The City of Fond du Lac’s Public Works Department has announced a public information meeting to present the new design for the Lakeside Park West Pedestrian Bridge that will cross the Fond du Lac River near Frazier Point.

The City, in partnership with MSA, would like community feedback on the new bridge design which is set to be built in 2023 and will connect Lakeside Park East and Lakeside Park West.

The public involvement meeting will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Lakeside Park Pavilion, 71 Promen Drive.

The consultant will give a brief presentation at 5:15 PM.

MSA worked with multiple local interest groups to gather feedback about the project including local property owners, marina businesses along the Fond du Lac River north of Scott Street, Lakeside Park Marina and the Lighthouse Anglers Club.

The city says it looks forward to hearing from the community.
