Rain To End Monday Night

Several inches of rain has fallen so far and a couple more could still be heading our way according to the National Weather Service.

A slow moving storm system is the cause of all the rain which started Saturday afternoon for much of the area.

Between 3-5 inches has fallen over the eastern Wisconsin area and as much as 7 inches has fallen over parts of far southeastern Wisconsin where flood warnings are in effect.

The forecast for the Fond du lac area calls for up to another inch before it’s all over.

Gusty winds up to 30 mph today coupled with saturated ground could potentially lead to some trees tipping over.

The rain is forecast to end overnight Monday followed by a dry four day period.
