Relocation Incentive Program Soon to be Available In FDL County

Businesses in Fond du Lac County will soon be able utilize a relocation incentive program to attract workers to the area.

Bernadette Ericksen with Envision Greater Fond du Lac tells KFIZ News the relocation incentive is being offered through a partnership between Envision, Fond du Lac County and the Fond du Lac County Capital Resources

“What we will be doing is working with area businesses and offering the ability to utilize some Fond du Lac County sales tax dollars that have been earmarked specifically for economic development to help recruit talent to the area.”

Ericksen says through the program, businesses will be able to offer up to 15-thousand dollars, or as little as one to two-thousand dollars, to help attract workers to their company.

The incentive program is open to any size business in the county, and is expected to be ready to launch within the next few months.
