Robins Will Need Our Help During Snow Storm

The pending snowstorm is likely to cause havoc to male robins that have appeared this week in our area looking to establish their perfect nesting spots.

You can help sustain them through the storm by putting out food in snowless areas under eaves or beneath evergreen trees and bushes and birdfeeders.

Another option is to clear an area of snow down to the grass and place food there.

Raisins, berries and mealworms are favorites, but hungry robins will be happy with suet, and even bread if you have nothing else to put out.
