High School Football:

WIAA 8-Man Jamboree:

Oakfield 50, Northwood/Solon Springs 33

–The Oaks complete an unbeaten 10-0 season with a win at the 8-Man Jamboree at D.C. Everest High School in Schofield. Oakfield Senior Brandon Williams tallied four interceptions, caught a touchdown pass and returned a punt for a score in the win.  

WIAA Girls Volleyball:

Division 3 Sectional Finals:

Waterloo 3, Winnebago Lutheran 0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-16)

–Jena Krueger and Lexi Livieri each totaled five kills, Hailey Becker had 15 assists in the loss for WLA.

WIAA State Cross Country Meet:

Division One Results:

Fond du Lac’s Kiernan Koepke finished in 131st place in the boys race at State with a time of 17:26.03. In the Division One girls race, Fondy’s Madison Hughes finished in 84th place with a time of 20:11.00.

Division Two Results:

North Fond du Lac/Oakfield’s Diego Charbonneau finished in 44th place in the Division Two Boys Race with a time of 17:18.58.

Also in Division Two, Waupun’s Bailey Billie finished in 82nd place in the Boys race with a time of 17:55.70 while teammate Rhyer Smit finished in 97th place with a time of 18:07.57.

Division Three Results:

Isaac Shannon of St. Mary’s Springs finished in 21st place in the D3 Boys race with a time of 17:09.35.

In the D3 Girls race, Sarah Niehueser from Winnebago Lutheran finished in 36th place with a time of 20:57.16. WLA’s Elle Teske was in 99th place with a time of 22:28.81. Laconia’s Cyna Madigan placed 76th in the D3 girls race with a time of 21:57.10
