Severe weather possible Tuesday afternoon into evening

A strong low pressure system is still forecasted to trek over the area which will bring with it the chance of severe weather including tornadoes.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are likely in two waves today with the first coming through in the mid afternoon. Those storms look to move northeast from southwest Wisconsin and may just miss the Fond du Lac area.
Then a line of storms associated with the cold front will come through this evening. That line has the greatest chance of producing severe weather. The main threat with that line of storms will be straight line winds though upper level winds are conducive of rotation in the storms that could pose a risk of tornadoes.

The better risk for tornadoes will be west of the Fond du Lac area in the Eastern Iowa, northwestern Illinois and southwest Wisconsin area.
