Sheboygan County crash sends two to hospital

Authorities in Sheboygan County are investigating a crash that occurred Tuesday, June 10, 2025, between a passenger car and a dump truck.

At 1:13pm, the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls regarding the crash at the intersection of Highway 57 and County Road J, north of Plymouth.

Preliminary investigation showed the driver of the car, which was traveling north on 57, attempted to turn west onto Co Rd J, and turned into the path of the dump truck which was traveling south on 57.

As a result of the impact, the car was rolled onto it’s side, trapping the 84 year old female from Elkhart Lake inside.

After being extricated, she was transported from the scene via Theda Star medical helicopter with serious injuries. The operator of the dump truck sustained minor injuries and was transported by Orange Cross Ambulance to a local hospital.
