Slinger Super Speedway racetrack may be changing hands

A local favorite racetrack in a neighboring county may be being sold, but the current owners are ensuring the new buyers keep it a race track.

The owners of the Slinger Super Speedway track in Washington County stated on their Facebook page Monday, February 24, 2025, that the time has come that they will be selling the track, but that it needed to be under the right conditions. They say the potential buyers began as fans of the track, transitioned into racers there, and are excited to take the track into the next chapter of its historic existence.

They say as of now, there are no anticipated schedule changes for the upcoming season.

The Slinger Super Speedway track is known as the worlds fastest 1/4 mile oval track and has been operating since 1948.
