South Military Road to close Wednesday May 14th

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works will be closing down a portion of South Military Road Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

The closure will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will close the road between Arlington Ave to Hickory Rd and Phase 2 will be from Hickory Street to Walker Street. The closure will be in place to allow a paving contractor to complete remaining operations on the Military Road construction that was recently done.

The department asks motorists to find an alternate route as there will be no signed detour.
